Hello and welcome! It’s Tuesday and I am back with another video. I had a taste for pizza, but not my usual loaded with meat. I wanted something different and something that was light. I decided to fix a pizza with pineapples and veggies. I enjoyed and so did my son. Add in your own touches and tell me how yours turns out.
Ingredients:
Pillsbury thin crust - follow instructions on packaging
Toppings - add as much or as little as you like
8-16 oz of Fresh mozzarella (depends on how much cheese you prefer.
Spinach
Red onions
Pineapples
Sauce - Purchase or make your own
2 large crushed garlic cloves
4 tblsp of butter
10.75 oz tomato purée
6 Sun-dried tomatoes
1 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of oregano
1/2 tsp of basil
1/4 tsp onion powder
Pinch of kosher salt to taste
1/2 tsp of sugar
Melt butter in a skillet. Once melted, add in crushed garlic and sauté. Brush onto your crust (you can save a little for the topping) and add the rest to your sauce. Add the remaining ingredients for the sauce to what is left. Simmer for 5-10 minutes then blend.
Add sauce to crust, then add half of your cheese. Add all toppings, remainder of cheese and garlic sauce if you chose to save a little.
Follow the instructions on your crust for cooking time.
Eat and Enjoy!
